A fascinating exhibition by the Historical Museum Rotterdam which explores large numbers of plans and designs of all kinds of architecture for Rotterdam which never actually got built. A very virtual tour around the city of Rotterdam, envisaged from the dreams for the city by countless architects since the second world war.

Here we built and implemented 2 interactive installations, a photo booth kiosk and a time-lapse animation builder and player. Using the new mega mac mini and sony IP cameras, In both cases content is shot and rendered on the fly and published straight to the web . Good fun, and good for generating relevant content, and thus traffic, for the organizations' website.

The entire downtown Rotterdam area modeled meticulously to scale using fine quality wooden movable blocks. The idea being that visitors may use models of the never before built buildings, and rearrange anything in the city as they please. The resulting pictures and time-lapes animations are published here.
