Michel van der Aa’s new music theatre work, The Book of Disquiet, was the first staging in Linz’s Cultural Capital of Europe celebrations in January 2009.
In cooperation with the director and the show's procucer duyser.net built video play out software, which enabled instant start of two channels of HD video and 8 channels of audio, to be played in synch with the music of the Orchestra. The software was built to function according to stringent technical specification and further customised to make it's operation suit the wishes of the musician using it. A very well received show, produced by Frank van der Weij and BeamSystems.

We have made significant performance enhancements and added a number of new features to the Disquiet software. Changes include a scrub function per channel, frame accurate sychronisation of staged video channels and the preview monitors, test clips for accurate projector alignment and calibration, and the built in sequencer, which handles the auto-loading of video to the appropriate channel, can now handle up to 60 clips.
